The Queen and The Princess

These are our "fur babies". The black one is Shawna, she's REALLY old for a dog....Depending upon who you talk to she's either going to be 19 or 20 in November. We've had her since she was about 2 years old. Love her to death.....and my favorite thing about her? She's a shelter dog! All of the dogs in my entire family have been either adopted out of a shelter or "rescued" before they were taken to the shelter.

The little blonde Cocker Spaniel is Laci. She'll be 6 on October 6th. She too is a rescue and has some "issues" too. She's got some pretty serious seperation anxiety. I can not leave the house without her sitting at the front door howling until I come back. She isn't a real big fan of men either, which means that she doesn't listen to the "man of the house" and Shawna just can't hear him. The second picture from the bottom is her favorite postion to sleep in....on her back with her legs up in the air. Issues and all she's still a great dog though and we love her to death.
