Nothing much new....

Nothing much is new with me really. I'm really enjoying my time off of work.....I really wish it was possible to make money doing nothing cause I'd be really good at it! After spending a week as a human it's been difficult trying to get back on my "vampire" schedule again. All I really want to do right now is lay down and take a nap.

It's rained here the last couple of days! It was pretty chilly here yesterday for September....I think it topped out at like 63 degrees. It's supposed to be in the 70's the rest of the week so I'm looking forward to that for sure.

Not sure what the "master" plan for today is going to be yet but I'm pretty sure there's at least one walk and a mile on the bike in my future today. Might get a movie or two watched too. Got a couple of news ones while I've been on vacation....Superbad, Swiss Family Robinson, Mystery Alaska, Auntie Mame, and Made of Honor to name a few.

No girl vacation yet....

But at 7:01 tomorrow morning I'm on R&R for 10 whole days! I'm totally looking forward to it too. I'm really tired and my left knee has been bothering me for the past three days so I'm hoping a little rest will do a body good! Not to mention I'm just flat out tired of making myself useful to everybody else and leaving no time for myselft.



It's definately getting to be fall-ish here in Wisconsin. It's supposed to top out at 58 degrees here today and rain on top of that too. It's not supposed to be above 70 all week here. NOT looking forward to fall (ok the leaves turning colors is pretty) cause that means we're that much closer to winter and winter is COLD. Last winter we got 100+ inches of snow so I'm kinda wintered out for a while.

I was dow to 160 but I'm back up to 161.5. I'm doing alright. I've been pretty good about not giving in to my soda cravings too. My brother's fiancee got a Wii Fit yesterday and I'm totally jealous!

I'm planning a "Girl Vacation!"

After reading Train Wreck's post about her lone girl trip and how much fun she had on it I've decided that I'm going to plan then take a girl vacation too! All the other vacations that I've gone on recently have involved Cowboys, Beer, and Bullriding....This will be the first non-bullriding vacation that I've taken in a long while. I've decided that I want to go see Utah/Monument Valley and maybe even the Grand Canyon. I've always wanted to Monument Valley in real life, I've seen it in movies.....Primarily John Ford's western's with John Wayne starring (Stagecoach, The Searchers, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and Fort Apache). Now that I've decided that I'm going to finally go I am super excited and can hardly wait!

What I've learned from this vacation...

1. There is a town in Iowa that is actually called What Cheer.
2. Between Ashley and I we took over 500 pictures while we were gone.
3. Iowa isn't quiet as bad as Illinois....There are hills in Iowa at least.
4. John Wayne was 13 lbs. when he was born.
5. Guilherme Marchi smells really good.

It's OFFICIAL!

I have my traveling buddy Ashley talked into going to the birthplace of John Wayne! I've always wanted to go and see it but I've never actually taken the time to do it until now!
