SERIOUSLY.....SERIOUSLY!!

My mom (I still live at home for now) has just informed me that effective tomorrow morning my current e-mail account (the one that I need to sign into blogger) will no longer be active because we changed internet providers. I just got back to blogger and have regular vistors and know I have to move again!?!?!?!? This does not make me happy but for those of you who do follow me below is my new information:

Fun Little Sayings....

For those who want to add fun little sayings to the number of comments that you have on your blogs posts here is what you do (I hope you don't mind me sharing Trish?):

1. If your logged into your Blogger account please click on "Customize." There you will see the layout of your blog.

2. In this screen click on the "Edit" button in the big box that says "Blog Posts."

3. The screen that comes up is all the options for your blog post. The 4th option down is the option that you want. There is a hypothetical number of "comments" and a box in which you can put the text you want. When I went in there to do this the text in the box said "comments".

4. Once you have inserted the text that you want and your happy with all of your other options (there is an example of what it will look like at the bottom of the options) click on "save" and you know have a custom message next to the number of comments on your blog.

Bloggy Pals!

Ok, so one of my bloggy pals asked that I please include some of the blogs that I visit on a regular basis. So I added a few that I follow. From what I can tell if you click on "view my complete profile" you should be able to see the other blogs that I follow as well. I'm constantly adding new ones now that I've joined SITS!

My Flickr Account and other randomness

I've been adding my photo's to my new Flickr account (the address to view it is in the sidebar) so please feel free to go and check them out and leave comments if you want to. I think my computer (my mom's old laptop) is slowly croaking on me. It's just not been acting like it usually does and it's just started being flat out "special." I've been using my mom's computer to blog lately because it actually allows me to upload photo's without throwing me off the net. I think I need to start thinking about getting a new laptop to blog/edit photo's/etc. on. So I apologize for the lack of photo's in my posts. I'm trying to "make up" for it by putting them in my Flickr account.

Stupid Blogger!

Blogger is being dumb today and won't let me comment on blogger blogs. So I'm not being anti-social on purpose, it's all bloggers fault!

This weekend

Depending upon how work goes I may not be posting this weekend. It's rumored that we are in a pretty deep hole right now at work and as much as I hate working on the new bosses weekend I really like working on old bosses weekends. They are soooo much more fun and things actually get done. So you may not hear from me for a few days....Just letting you all know so you don't think that I'm lying in a ditch dead somewhere or something like that.

Houston We've Had a Name Change!

I'm still me (BITR Country Girl/Jamie) but my blog is now "Just Another Day In Paradise." Cause sometimes my life is more "Just Another Day In 'Paradise'" than it is "Bumps In The Road" really. Plus it's something I'd been thinking about doing and now I've just gone ahead and done it.

In Regards to my "I'm beginning to develop a complex" post....

In my post about my potential "complex" yesterday I just wanted to say that the post it's self was written in frustration over lack of feedback on my posts and I don't want anybody out there to feel obligated to comment because of it. I just wish that the "window shoppers" (thanks for that one Train Wreck!) would "buy" something every once in a while is all.

I also took the comment moderation off for when you go to leave comments. I don't know if that is a deterant or not but I only had it on to reduce spam and "unwanted" (AKA mean, rude, crude, etc.) comments. So if that was what was holding you back it's gone (for now anyway).

I'm beginning to develop a complex.....

This is one of my "ballsier"/borderline selfish posts that I've done and it's not intended to upset or offend anyone, so I do apologize if I do step on a few toes out there in blogland. It's more to vent my frustrations about the lack of response to my posts. I was checking out a blog that i happened to find on Cowboys, Kids and Sunsets called Crazy M Ranch and the writer of the blog actually had a post similar to the one that I'm about to write....It actually inspired me to write the rest of this post actually.I've been blogging for a little while know and I've recently started developing a "complex" I guess you could call it. It seems that I have a bunch of people who come to my blog but most don't leave comments (I love comments.....even if it's just a "hi"). How am I supposed to vist their blogs and leave comments if there isn't any trace of them other than in my visitor tracker? I really do appreciate those who do comment on a regular basis. And what about those "new" blogs that I go to and visit and leave comments on? There are several that I've been to in the past few weeks that I've left comments on and I haven't heard a peep from them. Why should I keep going back if they don't come and visit me even to just say "hey thanks for the comment?"

I know that I've moved between here and wordpress a couple of times and I've learned my lesson doing that. I've been trying to come up with interesting topics to blog about and still very few comments, even though I know that there are more than a few people out there who are reading. So I guess I'm just going to throw this out there....What do you guys and gals want to hear more or less about? There really is no wrong answer to this question. I'm just trying to get a better feel for what you guys and gals want to see more or less of.

I'm two days behind AGAIN!

So as you know there was no Tirade Tuesday this week and no post yesterday. There was no Tirade Tuesday because I really had nothing but work that was ticking me off and that really seems to be a lost cause right now and I was helping my brother, his fiancee and their buddy/roommate finish packing and then move. Hence why there was no post yesterday, because it was moving day. So yet again I'm two days behind on my blogs and blogging but I hope to get caught up this morning.

Changes

I really didn't want to have to come back to blogger but I'll be honest I was completely fed up with all the problems that I was experiencing with wordpress so here we are. Edited at 11:05 - I've been re-adding blogs to my blogroll since I've changed my template and lost my old blogroll. Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm not done adding but I've got to do something other than blog today!

Something I'm trying to do....

I am in the process of trying to lose a "few" pounds. On my other blog Making Me That "Skinny Bitch" I am involved with a 30 day challenge. Basically the challenge was pick an article of clothing that doesn't fit and try your very best to get back into them in 30 days. I chose my favorite pair of 9/10 size jeans. They don't fit right in the hips, thigh area and I've got some belly "buldge" issues going on. Basically I'm posting this here because I need some support to keep myself motivated and on the right path. Will you all be my "cheerleaders?"

If You Comment....

If you look in the upper left hand corner of my blog you will see a picture about leaving comments and I'll respond. I know that on the blogs that I have seen that have this or a similar photo/avatar posted I go back to see what the writer has had to say. I do respond already to 99% of the comments that are made on my blog but I just wanted to put this out there for the "lurkers" who visit and don't leave comments.

None of these are really weird but they are random facts about me.

1. I've never been on an airplane.
2. My dream vehicle is a Ford Super Duty...Perferably Black with a TON of chrome.
3. I have a scar on my left hand from 3rd degree rope burn I got from my fair project my Junior year of high school. I'm actually going to do a post on this later this week.
4. I HATE swiss cheese! It's absolutely DISGUSTING!
5. I'm extremely afraid of ladders.
6. I'm a LEFTY.
7. I DON'T find Brad Pitt all that attractive.
8. I can't sleep unless there is a fan or some sort of noise in the room...I don't do entirely quiet!
9. I have a "thing" for cowboys.
